A Message from the President: Thank You for Standing with Our Students

Dear San Miguel Community,

Thank you for standing with our students. Your presence and support are transforming lives at San Miguel School. 

On May 1, the joyful energy of San Miguel School buzzed through Congressional Country Club for our 13th Annual Scholarship Benefit. Bringing our community together — students, families, teachers, and supporters — set the stage for an incredible night. 

I heard about many different highlights of the evening, but one thing was clear: when our community gathers together, the San Miguel spirit comes to life in a way that can’t be matched.

You raised a record-breaking $669,036.
I am completely humbled by your confidence in our mission. Your continued support shows me that while we have already accomplished so much together, the best is truly yet to come. Your generosity powers our progress, and we are deeply thankful. 

You gave another gift, one that can’t be quantified the same way, but was just as valuable: your presence. Every year, I see our students diligently prepare for this night, proud and excited to show what they can do. Your enthusiasm for their accomplishments and your encouragement to them have an impact beyond measure. To have a community that stands behind our students with pride fuels their drive all year long.

Words don’t do justice to my gratitude, but I’d love to share Belinda Cabrera’s words once again. As a San Miguel parent, she can see like no one else the profound transformation of a San Miguel education. 

Thank you for believing in our boys. 

Thank you for lifting them up. 

And thank you for showing how far love, education, and opportunity can take a young person.
